About Bree
Bree is the Managing Director of The Possums Clinic in Brisbane and works directly alongside Dr Pamela Douglas at Generations Medical in Taringa. She is a Registered Nurse, NDC Accredited Practitioner, and Educator for The NDC Institute, combining clinical experience with a deep passion for supporting families through the early months-years of parenthood.
With eight years of nursing experience, Bree has dedicated her career to helping families and their babies navigate the challenges and joys of those early days. She understands how confusing and conflicting parenting advice can be, and focuses on gentle, evidence-based approaches that nurture the wellbeing of the whole family.
As a mother of two young boys, Bree knows firsthand how much reassurance and compassion can mean during this remarkable yet often overwhelming stage of life.
Her practice is grounded in the principles of Neuroprotective Developmental Care. This includes cued and responsive care, recognising that every baby and family is unique. Bree is passionate about empowering parents through evidence-based support, helping them make informed choices that align with their own values and needs.
The connection between the five domains of infant health, mother’s health, sleep, sensory experiences, and feeding is at the heart of her work - ensuring that every family she supports feels confident, understood, and able to find joy in the early days of parenting.
